This is a simple WordPress Plugin that changes your search results page. When you search for something, WordPress automatically displays all posts and pages that match the search. What it does not do is offer any kind of sorting. This plugin addresses that.
Before the search results, the plugin will insert a line of text stating what the search was for (i.e. “wordpress”), then a total count of results found, then display how many results were found in each category with a link to search just that category.
Version
Current version is 1.0. Development will be ongoing, and new features may be added.
Cost
I am releasing this plugin for no charge. However, I have put a lot of time into my code, so please consider donating what you feel this plugin is worth. Contact me if you’d like a custom plugin or function based on this item, I’d love to help.
